Description
This custom model AL-120-CR-L/A-6 AC constant current power amplifier, also known as transconductance power amplifier, is a fully complimentary linear class AB amplifier with 6 independent channels. Each channel has 2 output current ranges, 0 - 1 A rms. @ 20 V rms. compliance voltage and 0 - 4 A rms. @ 5 V rms. compliance voltage. All six channels can amplify sine wave input signals into adjustablesine wave output currents. This AC power amplifier can cover a wide frequency range, from 50 Hz to 2000 Hz. Typical applications include magnetic field generation, and the testing and qualification of circuit breakers, relays, transformers, and watt-hour meters.
