One of the world's global leaders in electronic components, specializing in advanced capacitors, connectors, and inductors was looking for an equipment to perform extensive ripple current tests on their electrolytic capacitors for over 2000 hours. A decade ago, they ordered over a dozen units of our high-frequency AC constant current sources, model number AL-100-CR-L/S-40K for their intensive ripple current testing. External DC bias voltage needed to be provided to the DUT.
Scenario: Our customer needed high frequency AC constant current sources to perform ripple current tests on their products – electrolytic capacitors. They expressed an interest in ordering the same model (model AL-100-CR-L/S-40K) as before, but faced a challenge of needing additional equipment to provide DC bias voltage, which was uneconomical for their operation. This time, they also required a much higher frequency (100K Hz) to meet their testing needs.

- Cost effective: by incorporating an adjustable DC bias source into the design, we were able to make the unit more compact and significantly reduce our customer’s expenses for additional equipment, providing them with an efficient and economical alternative.
