Our “CV-S”
series constant Voltage mode power sources
are stable and easy-to-use power sources designed with linear
circuitry.
1. Basic
Version
Our standard
basic “CV-S”
models offer a 0-130 V rms. (0-260 V and 0-65 V output voltage
ranges are available at request) and frequency range of 30 Hz to
20K Hz at the above output ranges. They have a built-in
oscillator and equipped with both “Local” and “Remote” control
methods. In “Local” mode, the user can use the 10-turn locking
pot and push-wheel switch to control the amplitude and the
output frequency. In “Remote” mode, the user can use a 0-10V DC
control volts to control the output amplitude.
2. RS232 and
GPIB Controlled Versions
In the
“Remote” mode, we offer “RS232” and “GPIB” control methods to
replace the “0-10V DC” control method if specified. (Please add
“/RS232” or “/GPIB” at the end of the part number when ordered.)
3. Closed-loop
Feedback and External Synchronization Functions
In both
“Local” and “Remote” modes, our constant voltage sources have
been equipped with Closed-loop Feedback function and External
Synchronization functions.
4. “CV-A” Version
In some
applications, the users just require constant voltage mode power
amplifiers instead of power sources. (The users will provide the
input signal from their own function generators.) We call such a
version as and “CV-A” version. They are simple and easy to use
power amplifiers, with 10-turn locking pot on front panel as an
alternative amplitude control method. All the other controls,
including output amplitude, frequency, phase and so on will be
on the external signal generator. As a result, the “CV-A”
version is cheaper than the “CV-S” version.
The output
waveform of our constant voltage sources is defaulted as sine
wave. Square wave output is available at request.
Constant
voltage sources and amplifiers provide a steady output voltage
independent from the load and input power line with variations.
Our customers use our constant sources and amplifiers to
generate magnetic fields and test, qualify products such as
lighting products, transformers, meters, and so on.
